The way we work
 
Your requirements - We ask you what you want your website to do, and how it is supposed to look and feel in use. If you have other sites you would like to emulate, we will look at those so as to fully understand what you want to achieve.

Visuals - We will create line drawings to show you what you have asked for. We will give you our professional opinion, but let you make the decisions. Once you are happy with these, we will create an electronic prototype of the artwork so you can see how your website would look for real. This is the hardest part of the design process. Some web designers skip this step, but without it you cannot judge whether we have fully realised your vision.

Website creation – Once the visuals are complete and you have signed them off, we then do the coding and programming to make your website work, and to make it search engine friendly.

Content Management System (optional) – The content management system (CMS) allows you to update your own website by editing or adding text, graphics and pictures, changing page layouts, adding new pages and editing database forms (if you have them.) Our CMS system keeps your site search engine friendly.

Hosting (optional) - We can host your website and offer packages suitable for almost any sized company.

Search Engine Optimisation (optional) – Many companies offer search engine optimisation (SEO) but struggle to prove results. We are part of a larger company that provides mortgage software, bridging loan software and risk insurance software, and we are ranked number one on search engines for all of these terms. It’s our own SEO expertise that’s achieved this, and so we offer it to our website clients too.

Analytics (optional) - Analytics can show you who is visiting your website, how long they have spent, what keywords they used to find your site and on which pages they spent the most time on. By using analytics at regular intervals, you can see how well your website is performing. And by analysing which search terms people used to find your website you can build up a picture of what keywords to target your marketing spend on.
